My entrepreneurial idea is one for an app that would run
on both Apple and Android products, particularly smartphones, iPads and
tablets. The app, called “Connected” is one that allows you to stay in
touch with your friends easily no matter where you are. Using Apple and
Android integrated software, this app automatically shows the location of your
closest friends via GPS right on your mobile device. You will never lose
your friends again!

Professional blogger Chris Velazco went to Rutgers University and
now works for TechCrunch as a full-time mobile blogger. His posts reflect the current news and
happenings in the mobile technology industry.
In this particular post from Velazco, he discusses an arising issue
in the Apple community that deals with complaints about the iPhone 5’s new
camera lens picking up a purple glare from lights in pictures. Velazco writes the issue is not because of
the newer lens and that the issue actually affective several apple
devices. Apple released an official
statement on the matter that said, in essence, that users should move the
camera to a different angle or use their hand to shield the lens from the
light. Velazco comments how this is
similar to Apple’s response when iPhone 4 had the antenna issue.
Velazco’s blog is short and concise which I like, especially when
reading blogs. He states the issue in
the community and states what to do/expect in order to solve the issue. He puts in the quote from Apple, which is
very relevant to give the reader what he/she may be looking for. The addition of the picture, which shows the
glaring purple light, gives the reader a much greater insight to the actual
issue. Adding that picture to the blog
is very, very beneficial to understanding the blog post. The only part of the blog that could be
confusing is when he says, “Steve Jobs’ recommendation to hold iPhone 4s
differently in the wake of 2010′s Antenna gate situation.” Readers may think, like I did at first, that
Velazco means iPhone 4S and not iPhone Fours as in the plural of the iPhone
4. This was a bit confusing to readers
who didn’t catch that.

ReplyDeleteChris Velazco is a fine young man of Korean decedent. His family immigrated here in the bowels of a Foxconn container ship, hence his love for all things Apple. Nothing he says in regards to Android should be trusted.
